Contacting us about returning a cat adopted from
MCSPCA
If you adopted a cat from the MCSPCA and need to return it, please email us. Please only contact us about cats that you
adopted from the MCSPCA and include the adoption information (e.g.,
estimated date of adoption, cat name at time of adoption).
Contacting us about returning a dog adopted from MCSPCA
If you adopted a dog from the MCSPCA
and need to return it, please email
us at
mcspcadogadoptionquestions@yahoo.com with any questions you have about
returning a dog. Please only contact us about dogs that you
adopted from the MCSPCA.
Please be patient
The MCSPCA is staffed completely by volunteers. We all have
full-time jobs and commitments outside the MCSPCA. We strive to return
calls and emails promptly, but there may be a delay depending on the volume.
Please do not expect a response within a few hours. If your situation is urgent,
please let us know, but also try one of the other humane organizations (see
Links Page). Do not abandon your
animal outside, or give it away to a stranger!
Temporary Boarding
We sometimes get requests from pet owners needing a place to board their
animals for a few months. Unfortunately, we do not have the foster care
resources to accommodate such requests. We suggest
that owners in this situation contact boarding kennels, other humane
organizations, or prevail upon family/friends. You might also try
contacting the National Association
of Professional Pet Sitters to find a pet sitter near you.

If you have any questions, please email us and we'll answer you as soon as
possible! You can call the MCSPCA at 301-948-4266, but for the
fastest response, please use our email address. For info on how to write to us,
see our contact page. |
